This is WAR

So last Friday, Nikicio held their Mixte FW 2012 show called "WAR" at W space. The show was intimate and rather private tho you could purchase the ticket for 100k or like me i got it for free from Whiteboard Journal! Was a lil bit disappointed tho because some of us attendees didn't get seats, but for all i care i got to stand at the spot where the photographers are, so yeah it's a pretty good place to stand at.
Tho i must say i wasn't disappointed that i have to stand through out the show cause Nikicio has once again executed one great collection. Nikicio Mixte FW 2012 is a combination of whites, blacks, plaids and a print of black and white waves that from afar kinda looks like a collection of Rorschachs (at least that's how i see it) which absolutely looks amazing. I really love the printed suit and the metallic vest is really cool, it adds a futuristic look to the collection and i also like everything that has the signature print of the season. I adore Nikicio for its prints. Oh oh and i really like those writings on the basics, as i remember it was "HELL IS EMPTY" and "LES CRIMES ES SANGUINE" excuse my french if i got it wrong or well, my eyes if i read it wrong.

Here are some pictures from the show that i've managed to take, the picture quality is a little disappointing tho cause my digital camera isn't that friendly to me.

the last 2 pictures are my favorite of the collection.

and here's the mastermind Nina Nikicio herself

Another cool thing about the show is that they collaborated with Cast Eyewear, hence the appearance of Fahrani Empel at the show. She's so cool. She's wearing this blue jumpsuit and a pair of boots. Her new do is so out there and with that ear/nose ring she wore, it just looked cool.

yours truly and Fahrani Empel
I also met Ayla Dimitri (Elle's stylist). And boy, was she cool. Her Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Rottweiler top caught my attention, she's the first person i have encountered wearing this. And she pair it up with Givenchy nightingale bag and a pants from Nikicio latest collection.

Kitty Galore

After scrolling through a blog filled with CATs i am very much inspired, intrigued, attracted to this super cute yet fierce animal.
Reasons why cats are cool:
their eyes
4 pa-pa-paws!
fierce face
cute, adorable, and cuddly
they purr
there's a kind of cat where the eyes and nose are on the same level
their slenderness (???)
their famous catwalk that eventually means something in fashion
9 lives, 9 repeatedly coolness

Meow meow is also in fashion. I have an undying love for Givenchy f/w 2011-12 collection by Riccardo Tisci, and in this collection some of the prints are "cats" (or more of a feline)  inspired which is panther. And also the Charlotte Olympia have such a cutie patootie kitty flats.

here's some music that currently been growing on me, it's by Grimes (heard that she's a cat love her self!)

The Little Black Jacket

My attention was very much drawn when models and celebs are tweeting about going to japan, and i was so curious of what is happenning in Japan, little did i know they're all going to Chanel event. The Little Black Jacket exhibition by  Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld was held at Japan, it's part of the 3 days Chanel event in Japan. The LBJ exhibition is on the first day and then they have the haute couture show the day after and at the last day there's a pop up store and a party where celebs and models are rekindled for the occasion and they also have the uber cool Azealia Banks performing. To me it is such a briliant and success event, i love every single of the pictures that Karl has taken for this project and i love the cast. I also think it's genius how they styled every each of one of those cast differently eventhough they're wearing the same classic Chanel's black jacket. Like Alice Dellal said,
"Every single one looks like it's from a different era yet they're all from the same year."

Anna Wintour, Yoko Ono, Daphne Guinness and Groeneveld, Sofia Coppola, Sama and Haya, Tilda, Sarah Jessica Parker, Alexa Chung are some of the names among the great cast.

Here are my favourites

just had to

Carine Roitfeld as Coco is just perfect

my  ultimate Cosian is just sheer perfection in this picture

love love love this video, makes me want to fly to Japan and join them. and the song is perfect Mai Ueda is a genius and so is Azealia Banks, speaking of Azealia she's my current favourite musician and you must listen to her songs.

A Nü Nü beginning

i just changed my URL! again! hahaha how do you like it now? so with this new url i'm gonna start a new beginning with my blog, i'm going to take it a lil bit more seriously (hope that'd work out) cause as you know i'm very very awful at keeping my so called blog(s) running, except for my tumblr that's a different story actually because all i do is reblog post of pictures. I actually wanted to delete this blog but some of my old posts are too funny for me to delete so i'll just create a pile of new posts to hide those up.
For my first post after the url change, i'm posting songs that related to pureness of this blog or so what ever.

just a brief recap of what i've done since my last post: nothing actually, except that now i'm in the second semester of college and thank god i got a good gpa for my first semester. then i also tried to apply for an internship again, this time for aksara kemang's counterpart, 707, i never knew if i were accepted or not as i had them calling me while i was asleep and i didn't have a gut to call them back or i'm just lazy to pick up my phone and press call. anyways i wouldn't take it anyway, if i were ever accepted, cause my schedule that i thought was rather free is actually not, far from free if i may say even only for 2 weeks a month but still. also i made some improvement on my photoshop and illustration skill which i'm pretty happy about, i mean now i got another skill to add up to my resume hahaha. hmm what else...oh i watched 3 designers documentary films in 2 weeks and they are awesome in so many ways, it's about YSL (whom i get to write essay about), Karl Lagerfeld and Yohji Yamamoto. i've also done some writings too these days, not major ones only my ramble of words on my notebook. AND i discover something that i like to call, "Cosians" list, it short for Cool Asians so maybe i'll write about it later and show you my cosians list!
